Mr McCann paid tribute to retiring chairman Tom Harley who has stepped down from the position he has held since 2004. Previous chairmen include Malcolm Turnbull and Andrew Robb.
Mr Cater said: “Kevin McCann, Warwick Smith and Mitch Hooke bring important experience to the board from the private sector, the engine for economic growth and productivity.
“While other think tanks focus on regulation and redistribution, the MRC is committed to policies that embrace freedom and empower businesses, families and individuals.”
