The work of the Menzies Research Centre is important than ever.  

Our nation is facing great challenges, our economy is under pressure and the future is uncertain. There is also an unwillingness across government to take on reform challenges. 

Additionally, our new Centre for Youth Policy will tackle key challenges facing young people —- housing, mental health and the environment —- from a values-based Liberal perspective.

The role we play is crucial in advancing public debate and filling the policy void.

Sound policy begins with solid principles.The MRC will always defend Liberal values and favour policies that put individuals before bureaucracy and promote personal responsibility.

Before the next Federal election, we will prioritise policy work across tax and the economy, housing affordability, energy policy, education reform, government service delivery and defence and security.
