The Menzies Research Centre is committed to the privacy of our users. This policy demonstrates our ongoing obligations to you, insofar as our respect of how we will use and manage your personal information. 

We have utilised the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) as per the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). These govern the way in which we collect, store, disclose, use, secure and dispose of your Personal Information. The Menzies Research Centre collects personal information and other data primarily to communicate to members or subscribers regarding events, organisation updates, information on research or other activities via email. The information we collect includes, but is not limited to, name, email address, contact phone number, postal and/or residential address, company association, position title, computer’s IP address, and social media handles.

If you are a donor, then we may also require your bank account or credit card details.

Some information about how you use our website, through registrations and donations, may also be collected.

  2. membership subscriptions, including paid subscriptions and non-paid subscriptions;

  3. donations to our organisation;

  5. when you purchase a book or download a report from our Web Site.

If you choose to submit and publish personal information about another person, you are responsible and liable for ensuring that such people are aware that you are providing our organisation with their personal information as well as the terms of this privacy policy.

The Menzies Research Centre will not use or disclose your information without your consent unless authorised or mandated by law, or if we consider it necessary for the following reasons:

  3. to answer your enquiry;

The Menzies Research Centre commits to taking all reasonable steps to maintain security of any information and to keep this information updated and accurate. The Menzies Research Centre will not be liable for events which may arise from unauthorised access to your personal information.
